The Greene County High school chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 28 new members in a ceremony Nov. 12 at the school.

Students with a minimum 3.0 grade point average were invited to complete a membership application that included an essay. Selection was done by a committee of high school teachers based on demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.
The Greene County chapter carries out service projects during the year. New members helped serve at the luncheon at the Nativity Festival and will also help in the Adopt-a-Family program.
